Installation Guide

Flush-Mount (Q5-F)

Step 1:

Cut Opening Mark outline on plasterboard. Cut with jigsaw or drywall saw. Leave 5mm clearance for adjustment.

Step 2:

Secure Box Insert box into opening. Level with spirit level. Fix with plasterboard screws through flange holes.

Step 3:

First Fix Wiring Route cables through knock-outs. Strip and terminate at DIN rail devices.

Step 4:

Finish Wall Apply plaster or joint compound around flange. Sand smooth when dry.

Step 5:

Paint Surround Paint flange to match wall color. Mask transparent door before painting.

Step 6:

Install Devices Mount MCBs, RCDs on DIN rail. Connect conductors. Test insulation.

Step 7:

Fit Door Clip transparent door onto hinges. Verify latch function

Surface-Mount (Q5-S)

Step 1:

Mark Position Level and mark screw positions. Drill pilot holes.

Step 2:

Secure Box Fix with wall plugs and screws. Verify level.

Step 3–7:

Same as flush-mount.

Installation time: 30–45 minutes (surface) vs. 90–120 minutes (flush, including plastering)
